- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management or related degree preferred;
- 10+ years industry experience strongly preferred;
- Gulf Coast experience required;
- Environmental experience including wetlands permitting required;
- Proven ability to lead or direct projects and supply technical expertise, leadership and consultation to professional co-workers.
- Represent Samson in outside discussions and technical forums;
- Proficient in writing and negotiating contracts;
- Proven history of successful managing and negotiating complex land issues, i.e. ability to see the big picture;
- Proven history of maintaining and nurturing business and landowner contacts within geographic area even if not engaged in current business deals;
- Acceptable driving record.
